This 1970 Dodge Charger Is Made of Carbon Fiber

SpeedKore is a name that should require no introduction around these parts. But in case you weren’t paying attention, the outfit built RDJ’s 1970 Ford Boss 302 Mustang and the 1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum that appeared in multiple Fast and Furious movies. The latest build, the 1970 Dodge Charger “Evolution” is as impressive a showpiece as the Tantrum. This SEMA release is a clean 1970 Dodge Charger that looks like a pristine example of 50-year-old American muscle… except it’s built almost entirely out of carbon fiber. Oh, and it’s powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 from a Dodge Demon. It also has Brembo brakes, HRE S101 forged wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 2s, a double-adjustable coil-over suspension and enough upgrades to produce almost 1,000 horsepower (966 hp, if you want to split hairs) while hitting the target weight of 3,200 pounds, which is about 100 lbs over the Prius curb weight. In short, this thing looks every bit like a vintage powerhouse but functions like a modern marvel.
