Grado Made the First Open-Back Bluetooth Headphones

Grado Labs is a Brooklyn-based audio company that’s been making some of the best headphones and turntable cartridges for longer than most of you reading this have been alive. The label made headphones from whiskey barrels. They made headphones from a Brooklyn tree. Now, finally, they’re turning their eyes to the one pair of headphones they’ve never made—Bluetooth. The Grado GW100 wireless headphones include the same signature drivers that make all their wired options great, but this time around, they’re built into the only Bluetooth open-back headphones on the market. As with all things Grado, they didn’t cut any corners when it comes to the tech specs, either. Bluetooth 4.2 with apt-X. Up to 15 hours of playback, depending on usage. They’re even expected to have integrated smart buttons for calls and phone voice assistant activation.
