It’s been 18 years since Unbreakable, the M. Night Shyamalan superhero film with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, hit theaters. Now, thanks to the success of Split and the David Dunn (Bruce Willis) cameo in that movie, the tale has been given new life. Glass brings together the characters of the two films together, as David Dunn and Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson) find themselves in a specialized psych ward with Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) and his many personas. Upon first glance, it seems reasonable to suspect that Dunn finds himself up against the team of Mr. Glass and Crumb, but this is M. Night Shyamalan, so we’re guessing it’s not so straightforward. Glass hits theaters on January 18, 2019.
