When it comes to knives, or tools in general, Ka-Bar is a name that needs no introduction. You’re probably most familiar with the Ka-Bar USMC survival knife that was originally designed for troops during World War II, but the brand has continued to innovate in the decades since with products like this Becker Tuko outdoor chef’s knife. The first production knife and sheath to come out of the new State & Union custom shop at Ka-Bar, the Becker Tuko was designed in partnership with Ethan Becker as a nod to their kitchen knives of the past. The modernized knife shares features with a Japanese santoku knife, but it’s Ka-Bar all the way in terms of ruggedness and build quality. That means a 5.125″ flat ground blade made of S35VN stainless, bone linen Micarta handle scales and a U.S.-made Holstex sheath. The Becker Tuko is limited to 120 pieces in honor of Ka-Bar’s 120th Anniversary. It’s available exclusively through Ka-Bar.
