The first time we heard about Brian Wells, a pizza deliveryman who robbed a bank in Eerie, Pennsylvania, in the early 2000s with a bomb around his neck, we were flipping through an issue of WIRED magazine some eight years ago. It’s stuck with us ever since. Now the bizarre story is getting the documentary series it deserves, straight from the talented Duplass brothers. Evil Genius digs into the story of Wells and the tangled mystery behind one of the most unique cases the FBI ever took on. The series premiers May 11. Prepare for a binge-fest.
