James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez have teamed up to tackle the popular Japanese comic Battle Angel Alita and this is our first look at what is sure to be a blockbuster next summer. Alita, the title character, is a broken cyborg discovered by a doctor who repairs her. She remembers little and sets off on a quest to discover everything about her past life. As you can tell from the trailer, the film is expected to be visually stunning, with impressive CGI blended with real-world action. This has been somewhat of a passion project from Cameron, as he’s toyed with the idea of doing it for the last 17 years. That goal will finally be realized when Alita: Battle Angel hits theaters July 20,2018.
