We first fell in love with the power of a hydraulic press thanks to a YouTube channel we stumbled upon months ago. The unwavering power makes mincemeat out of even the most robust items. It’s one of the reasons we love Splatware, a collection of plates and cups formed by that destruction press. Granby Workshop, the makers of Splatware, create colorful balls of clay and then let the hydraulic press do its dirty work, squishing the clay into a unique piece of dinnerware. We’re always fans of one-of-a-kind products, of having dishes that aren’t from IKEA and aren’t found in everyone else’s cabinets, which is why we’re backing Splatware on Kickstarter.
