Pop-up shops, by definition, are hard to get to. They open and close without the majority of the public being any wiser. Not in the area at the right time? Out of luck. Well, Cliffside Shop, a pop-up from Work in Progress, just took things to another level of inaccessibility. The shop opened on a mountain outside of Boulder, Colorado, some 300 feet up. How do you get the jackets, fleece, and other gear? Climb up. The 6′ x 10′ shop was created to help test the products in real time, so climbers could see the next level protection the clothing offered. Cliffside Shop was only in operation for two days (it was a pop-up, after all) and offered free gear to about 70 adventurers.
