The great thing about LEGO is you can build anything you want. What they don’t tell you about that, however, is most of the things you want to build don’t come with guide books. But the LEGO community often takes it upon itself to create its own guide books. Take Chris McVeigh’s retro tech creations. He’s built full office sets, an arcade, and plenty of computer accessories, and all of them are faithful renditions of the nostalgia he’s trying to capture. You can find complete build guides at his website, with brick counts and steps, just like you would for a regular LEGO set. The only difference is you’ll have to collect the pieces for McVeigh’s builds yourself, instead of getting the complete box right off the shelf.
