Own One of Three Off-Road Porsche 911s

Between the Land Rovers, Humvees, rally cars and Broncos of the world, there are plenty of great off-road options out there when you don’t feel like driving on flat pavement. Forget about all of them because what you really want is an off-road Porsche 911 Safari built by Eric Brandenburg. In 2007, Brandenburg (who also happens to be a surgeon) won his class in the TransSyberia Rally using a modified Porsche 911 that includes everything from huge tires and a beefed up suspension to a seam-welding job so rigid that the car doesn’t even need a roll cage. The car was such a hit that Brandenburg built three copies of his TransSyberia Rally 911 “Safari.” This is one of them. So go ahead and throw this Porsche across ditches, over jumps and through the mountains because it can take it. Just don’t forget to throw some emergency supplies and a tool kit in the car—something tells us if you drive this thing like it was meant to be driven you’ll need them.
