We loved the Nike Cortez long before Forrest Gump rocked a pair of them. The red, white, and blue along with the track-ready build makes for a pair of trainers we can get behind. Nike is not one to rest on their laurels, so they took the iconic Cortez and gave it a refresh for 2017. Introducing the Nike Cortez Flyknit. As the name suggests, Nike built the upper out of their ultra-comfortable Flyknit material. But while Nike brought it into the modern era with the sock-like material, they kept a bunch of subtle nods to the past.
