As you know from their other projects like the Land Cruiser FJ, 1964 Dodge Power Wagon or the Derelict 1960 Willys Overland Wagon, ICON 4×4 knows how to put together a badass restoration. One thing we haven’t seen much of from them is vehicles bearing the Chevy badge… until now. Built for a “Chevy guy” who liked the understated style of the ICON Bronco Reformer, ICON created a custom for him based on a 1969 K5 Blazer decked out in blue and black. This off-road beast retains the stock body and chassis, but almost everything else has been upgraded as ICON is wont to do. Fox Racing suspension. Four wheel disc brakes on Dynatrac Dana 60 axles with Black Rock wheels. GM 420hp Erod LS2 engine with a 4L80E ¾ ton transmission. But it’s ICON, so the upgrades don’t stop at performance. Inside you’ll find Italian leather, wool rugs, custom gauges, integrated roll bar, upgraded sound and a custom consoles designed to look stock. ICON knocked it out of the park again.
