Glenfiddich is adding to their already impressive stable of whiskies with a new experimental series that includes an IPA scotch. Yes, an IPA scotch. Dubbed the IPA Experiment, the unique whisky is finished for three months in casks that were used in the creation of an IPA from Speyside Craft Brewery. Ignoring the fact that barrel-aged IPAs are bizarre and, in our opinion, fairly terrible, Glenfiddich claims the IPA-soaked barrels contribute a zesty citrus note to the booze. The 43% ABV hooch goes on sale later this year and will be the perfect evening drink for hopheads in need of something a bit stronger than a tallboy.
