As we wait patiently for the Oculus Rift to usher in the new era of virtual reality, other brands are getting us excited for the possibilities ahead. Nokia, for example, just unveiled OZO, the world’s first commercially available virtual reality camera. Similar in design to the lightsaber training device Luke used in Star Wars, OZO comes with eight synchronized global shutter sensors paired with eight mics that work together to snag 3D video with immersive sound. Details are still limited, but Nokia hopes to have the OZO out to the public this fall.
