After having tried a previous Oculus Rift virtual reality headset, we can safely say the device is going to change everything … mostly porn, but other stuff too. As we wait for a consumer version to hit the market, we can at least report a promising new prototype named ‘Crescent Bay.’ The headset boasts new display technology with 360-degree head tracking along with better weight and ergonomics. The improved weight and feel should really make a difference, as the only real complaint we had with the previous models were they felt quite heavy. Making the headset lighter and more comfortable should help users immerse themselves in the experience even more so. We’ll remain prepared with credit card in hand for one to hit Amazon.
