If you’re a fan of typography, signage, or just books with a cool story, this full-size reissue of the NYC Transit Authority Graphics Standards Manual needs to be on your coffee table immediately. Back in the late 1960s, the MTA wanted to reinvent, clean up, and organize their signage throughout the New York subway system, and they turned to Unimark International for help. The result was sweeping change and this manual it was all based on. The long out of print style guide is now returning thanks to this Kickstarter campaign. It’s not cheap, but it is pretty awesome.
