Garrett Wade Brass Capsule EDC Multi-Tool

Garrett Wade Brass Capsule EDC Multi-Tool

Garrett Wade has been unearthing, designing or reproducing unique tools that you just won’t find anywhere else for more than a few decades. Their latest, the “Beautiful Brass Capsule Multi-Tool”, checks all the boxes a tool should check in terms of being properly named, and it is actually quite beautiful. More to the point though, the 3 ¼” long and 11/16″ wide capsule contains five different tool bits and is based on a vintage design they discovered at a flea market in London. Unscrew the capsule in the middle to remove any or all of these five tools: flat / phillips head screwdrivers, pull hook knife, drill big/gimlet or corkscrew. Take your tool of choice, slide it into the reinforced brass slot in the capsule and reassemble the capsule around it to create a handle. Since it weighs less than three ounces it’s one of those multi-tools you can throw in a pocket or bag and carry it every day.
