The long-awaited return of the legendary Land Rover Defender SUV brings modern tech, materials, and construction to an off-roading icon. Now, the brand has commissioned Swiss watchmaker Zenith to build a watch to celebrate the Defender. The titanium timepiece gets treated in a matte-finish micro-blasted coating for its tonneau case and a sweet rubber strap that mimics off-road tires. Even the clear caseback looks just like the new Defender’s wheels. The DEFY 21 Land Rover Edition gets the superb El Primero 9004 Swiss automatic chronograph movement, three recessed subdials, hands and markers treated with Super Luminova for great low-light visibility, orange nighlights, and beefy pushers and screw-down crown. The limited-edition watch that runs for $13,400 will be kept to a small batch of 250 units.
