This is big news, the debut of nautical lifestyle watchmaker Spinnaker’s first watch for time zone travelers. It capitalizes on the chunky 44mm hexagonal case of the original Dumas dive watch but adds Seiko’s NH34 TMI GMT automatic movement that provides an independent GMT dual time hand for a second time zone, as well as a two-tone, bi-directional bezel to track a third time zone. The upgraded movement doesn’t even add any thickness to the Dumas’ original 15mm, which is great news for overall wear comfort. The bold Plongeur/sword hands are easy to read, and the contrasting-color hour and GMT hands pop against the dial. The shrouded lugs keep the lug-to-lug dimensions manageable, and the three-link bracelet melds beautifully with the case design. The Dumas GMT also comes with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, transparent caseback, screw down crown, Swiss Super-LumiNova, and 300 meters of water resistance. Spinnaker includes a matching rubber dive strap, too. The Dumas GMT comes in four distinct colorways: Harbor Grey, Navy Black, Dark Turquoise, and Cobalt Crimson. You can purchase it directly from their site now.
