Looking more like a Bond villain’s lair than a hotel, the new HOMA hotel was built into the island cliff’s landscape of Serifos. There are three separate units, each with two bedrooms and small living areas. There’s also an outdoor kitchen, living and dining areas, and private swimming pools. What’s more, each one provides stunning views of the sea. HOMA blends in with the rocky landscape and provide access from the roof with linear staircases, and there are patois and stairs bathed in natural light. Local mineral hues are used throughout HOMA, all meant to imbue the spaces with a harmonious ability to blend in with the surroundings.
