The ‘Alfa Male’ Short Film Is About One Man’s Love of His GTV6

There’s absolutely no denying the fact that your old man probably heavily influenced your early automobile crushes. For most of us, that meant old school Mustangs, Corvettes, Camaros, Darts and other iconic pieces of American muscle. Matthew Buffardeci, on the other hand, caught the Alfa Romeo bug from his father. Matthew’s love of his beat up Alfa Romeo GTV6 has been chronicled in the short film Alfa Male from Australia’s The Thin Black Line. Presented as a sort of 1980s style love story with a decidedly Bond bent about a man and his car, Alfa Male touches on all the reasons why the 80s era Alfa Romeo remains a classic driving machine even when it needs rust repair, new locks and a paint job.
