Smart folks over at SwitchEasy. They took a page from the human body–specifically the ribs protecting the vitals–and applied it to protect your electronics. Keep that slick little iPad safe and sound with this slightly phantasmagorical RibCage case, which uses a molded rib-form to protect the screen. Wrapped in faux leather, it’s handsome too… in a sort of Army of Darkness way. On top of that it comes with two slim fold-out stands for when you want to give your hands a rest from holding the damn thing in a heated game of Scrabble. In short, this case is all function without losing the form, allowing you to use use your iPad as a hot plate, a cutting board, or maybe as a doorstop. Or not. But it IS damn tough.
