Nike+ Fuelband

Nike+ Fuelband

NikeFuel is not some new alternative power source for pair of pump action sneakers that will make every other person on the basketball court jealous. (Unfortunately, our efforts to get the Nike Air Pump technology revived were met with nothing more than silence.) It’s the output of the new Nike+ Fuelband, which is basically a stylish pedometer for the iPhone crowd. Everything you do on a daily basis (steps, calories burned, etc.) gets tracked by the sleek bracelet and then converted to NikeFuel. Set a goal for the day and then every bit of NikeFuel created pushes the Fuelband from red (bad) to green (goal!). Hook it up with USB or Bluetooth to track your progress, or lack thereof, through Nike+. If and when you decide you’re not really interested in a wrist mounted pedometer, it also doubles as a pretty cool watch.
