Batmobiles, Bugattis, and Beetles have all been part of the LEGO car world to our everlasting delight, but they’ve added their first app-controlled vehicle, and it’s a Top Gear-branded rally car. On top of its ruggedly styled body with its huge Hella lights (branded “Stig” in this case), roll cage, fat tires, and Top Gear logos, there’s an electric motor that’s controlled via Bluetooth connection to your smartphone and the CONTROL+ app. 463 parts means it might take you some time to put it together, but the temptation to thrash it around your basement should help you stay focused. The kit will ship January 1, so you’ll have something fun to do after the holidays are over.
