The folks at Tau have fixed two portable device charger issues. First of all, they’re usually larger than you’d like. Second, you actually have to remember to charge up the power bank, otherwise, it’s just a paperweight/doorstop/blunt force instrument. The TAU is small and lightweight, attaches to your keychain, and docks in its own small magnetic wall charger so it’s always juiced up and ready to go. 1400mAh power means it can charge about 40% of a device (9 hours of smartphone talk time, 5 hours of web surfing, and 25 hours of music playback), so it can rescue you in a pinch. USB-C, Lightning, and MicroUSB cables are integrated into its body, so it’ll work with just about any modern portable electronic device. It also recently won the CES 2021 Innovation Award. It’s blown its funding goal exponentially, but you can still contribute on Indiegogo.
