What if an ice-cold beer was always within arm’s reach? Sure, you could lug around a cooler, but in this scorching heat, there should be an easier solution. Introducing the Heineken B.O.T., part Black Mirror part Roomba/beer cooler. Earlier this week Heineken introduced the Beer Outdoor Transporter (or B.O.T. — clever) which is a motion-sensing robot with a built-in AI-driven personality. The B.O.T. comes equipped with a cooler that can store 12 cans and ice. While it certainly isn’t as rugged or versatile as some of the other coolers on the market, the B.O.T. is sure to be a conversation starter. I mean, who wouldn’t want a frosty one hand-delivered by a robot? Strap on a smart speaker and you’ll have the ultimate party machine. The Heineken B.O.T. isn’t going on sale, unfortunately, but one lucky person will be able to win this mobile beer cooler in a drawing on July 1st. If you happen to be the lucky winner, we’d suggest stocking up on these summer beers.
