DJI Digital FPV System

DJI just created a brilliant “First Person Viewing” system that delivers thrilling live drone footage or a fast track to motion sickness. The stealthy black and grey “goggles” utilize the first low-latency HD video transmission signal (a mere 28 milliseconds) that pretty much puts you right there where your drone is flying. Range is a whopping 2.5 miles, and video content on the camera is 1080p at 60 fps or 720p at 120 fps, and the FPV goggles record 720p at 60 fps. The FPV system can also operate in three modes (racing, standard and low-light-friendly LED). The level of immersion should be truly addictive, and you’ll just have to use it in locations where you’re comfortable having virtually no clue what’s going on in your immediate vicinity.
