Don’t wear earbuds unless you have to because they just can’t compare to a serious set of cans. To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Audio-Technica presents its top-end wireless headphones, the ATH-WB2022. Using flame maple, walnut, and mahogany wood from Japanese guitar maker Fujigen, the ATH-WB2022 are a sight to behold, as well as listen through. Audio-Technica used two ESS ES9038Q2M DACs in each channel, two Nisshinbo Micro Devices’ MUSES05 op-amps, and a new 45mm driver with a DLC-coated diaphragm that all combine to provide the ultimate sound experience. The ATH-WB2022 will be available in 2023.
