Howard Hughes wore tissue boxes on his feet in his waning years, but you can one-up him with these USPS Priority Mail shipping box themed Air Force 1s. What the heck for, you ask? Well, the U.S. Postal Service handles all of Nike’s domestic shipping needs, so it only seems appropriate. It’s clear that Nike didn’t hold back when using the white, red, and blue cardboard box look. There’s a foam shell overlaying the upper and midsole with “Air Force 1″ subtly printed all over. Even the heel badge is a USPS shipping label that reads “Air Force 1,” “N.354,” “For Everyday Use” with a nifty “From” emblazoned on it for all to see. A red N. 354 print shows up on the Nike Swoosh in relief, and there’s a blue toggle over the laces, as well as pull tabs. Now, the cool part would be if these were standard issue for all postal service workers, eh?
