Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance R_C4

Tokyo Design Studio x New Balance R_C4

It’s that time of year when your summer white sneakers go into closet hibernation, and you now need to break out the more rugged footwear. New Balance has teamed up with Tokyo Design Studio to create a stylishly rugged sneaker known as the R_C4. Part of TDS’s Reveal Series, the R_C4 employs a tough Cordura Tracefiber upper, a thin but grippy Vibram outsole, and supportive ENCAP REVEAL and ABZORB midsole for all-day trekking. A big “N” logo is emblazoned on the outside, and there are nighttime reflective laces. It’s the kind of shoe that can take you from the startup office Friday casual to a fall trail run without skipping a beat, or you can just pretend you’re outdoorsy at the local beer garden.
