There are arguably no two brands that better define the prep aesthetic than Sperry and Brooks Brothers. So when the two behemoths team up, we take note. Introduced last week, the collaboration between Sperry and Brooks Brothers has already garnered a lot of attention for devotees of Ivy League dressing, or for those who want a smart alternative to level-up their spring wardrobe.

Coming in a variety of designs — including sandals, slip-ons, mules, and boat shoes — this collaboration is injected with a bit of New England chill with colorways that reflect the heritage of Brooks Bros. From subtle tans to teal paisley a $1,000 whopper in cordovan leather, each shoe has just the right mix of prep and contemporary cool to make this a collab worth looking into.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
