Torsus Announces Upgrades to the Praetorian Off-Road Bus

Torsus Announces Upgrades to the Praetorian Off-Road Bus

In the three years since Torsus first introduced its 4×4 off-road bus, the Praetorian has reigned supreme in the category. But, rather than rest on its laurels, Torsus announced earlier this week that it would introduce a suite of upgrades, based off customer feedback, to this rugged beast. So, the latest Praetorian lineup features a lighting boost switching from halogen to LED and adding 1,000-lumen work lights around the roof for a 360-degree stationary lighting system. The AC got a serious upgrade and Torsus installed an automatic fire-suppression system that self-extinguishes fires around the fuel system. Plus, passengers can expect increased seating, headrest-integrated displays, and improved insulation. It’s unclear if Torsus will raise the price on the newer models but the current Empty Shell Praetorian runs for €153,000 (around $183,600).
