Tattoo Projects is a Charlotte-based advertising agency with a creative director and co-founder who turned his passion for motorcycles into a shop. If one look at their “Vampire Slayer” cafe racer wasn’t indication enough, their motorcycles leave as indelible an impression as their advertising work. Starting with a Suzuki GN400 found on Craiglist, an idea and an image of the famous Deus Ex Machina “Grievous Angel” in mind, the label set about creating a bike that’s simple and elegant. If you’ve ever built a bike, you know that’s easier said than done. Tattoo stripped the bike, chopped the tail, installed LED lighting, cut down the suspension, made a new seat pan and even lopped a good 3″ off a generic fuel tank for that iconic low profile look. A matte black paint scheme completes the look and really sells the “Vampire Slayer” name.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
