Rod Stewart’s 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

Rod Stewart’s 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary

In the era of big hair and big V12 supercars, the combination of a Lamborghini Countach and its former owner, Rod Stewart, are a match made in heaven. This 1989 25th Anniversary model, of which a mere 658 were ever made, is up for auction on Bring-A-Trailer. Although the “Maggie May” rocker isn’t the current owner and seller, the mere fact that the big British mullet crooner once helmed it certainly adds value. Under the rear bonnet is a 5.2-liter V12 engine good for a 0-60 mph sprint in less than five seconds and a top speed of 185. The current bid stands at $370,000 with four days left as of this writing, but it’s sure to climb. The losing bidders will be singing, “Some guys have all the luck” as the winner drives off.
