McLaren 570GT

McLaren 570GT

Despite its slightly lower sticker price, the McLaren 570S was still pretty much made for the track but legal for the street. But for those that need a modicum of creature comforts, the McLaren 570GT is a kinder, gentler 570. Gone are lightweight interior fabrics and underneath the panoramic roof is a cockpit covered in leather. A softer suspension is not as harsh or bone-jarring over uneven pavement, while the entertainment system has twice as many speakers or as high as twelve for the optional Bowers & Wilkins system. Just about the only item neither kinder nor gentler is the 3.8-liter twin-turbo, which puts 562 hp to the tarmac, which is the same engine as its meaner sibling. Available later this year.
