Mod shop Machine 1867 has taken a vintage Italian vintage 1957 Gilera Extra Rossa 175 and turned it into a hillclimb style bike that looks both slick and capable with its huge knobby tires, big springer fork, and low-slung profile. The new Gilera mod also gets custom machined parts like a hand-shifter, axles, linkages, and grips. The beauty also has big 19″ wheels that use a gold powdercoat, a leather tractor-like single seat, and a ceramic powder-coated and polished hardtail chassis. The simplicity and airy design make it museum worthy, and we’re guessing buyers won’t let this gorgeously modded vintage moto do any hillclimb races.
