The Ferrari 488 GTE was a specialized race car version of the twin-turbo V8 street car, the first turbocharged vehicle from the Prancing Horse brand since all the way back to the iconic F40. Now, it’s been immortalized by LEGO as a Technic kit for kids and Ferrari aficionados, alike. The bricked 488 GTE consists of 1,677 pieces and measures a healthy 19 inches long. The kit includes the engine with moving pistons, functional doors, operational steering setup, front and rear suspension, racing seats, and an adjustable rear wing. It’s also properly festooned with all manner of brand and sponsorship decals to look like the real deal. It goes on sale January 1st, 2021. Happy New Year, indeed.
