John Wick’s Ford Mustang Mach 1 Coupe

John Wick’s Ford Mustang Mach 1 Coupe

Keanu Reeves is a time traveler, hacker, chosen one and the star of two of the best movie fight scenes of all time, or at least the characters he plays are. His assassin alter ego John Wick also has a thing for dogs and one particular car–the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. Classic Recreations has been officially licensed by the Ford Motor Company to build the first turn-key versions of that car, and each one will be built to customer spec. There’s really nothing you need to screw with on the cosmetic side because it’s one of the most beautiful vintage cars of all time. But on the performance side, the sky is the limit with Ford performance crate engines, updated valvetrain, EFI, engine management systems and a modern transmission that will get you close to four digit horsepower. (Before you pick up your pitchforks, yes, the car is referred to as a ’69 Boss 429 in the film, but the actual car was a Mach 1. That said, if you do want an actual 1969 Ford Classic Mustang Boss 429, Classic Recreations has one of those, too.) Driving this car isn’t going to turn you into a highly-trained assassin or anything, but you’ll look great driving it anyway.
