Even though it has yet to be named, Jeep’s first EV shows up uncloaked and unabashed in bright yellow paint. Set to arrive sometime in 2023, the electric SUV shows off Jeep Compass-like styling (only far better) and a similar compact size. The right styling cues are there, including a Jeep faux seven slat grille, bulging fenders, and plenty of black trim all around, including a hood decal, rocker panels, and floating roof. Interesting touches like the split headlights with LED DRL eyebrows, door handles set into the rear door frame, and Renegade-like X-motif taillights round out the well-designed SUV. There are no details about the powertrain, range, or performance, but we expect it will come in front-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations. This should be the start of the brands big EV push to come in the next couple of years.
