Scooters are clearly not just for kids, and the electric scooter might just be the wave of urban transportation no one saw coming. BMW wants in on that very electric scooter game, and they’ve just collaborated with Micro to create the e-Scooter, a lightweight version that gets up to 7.5-miles of range on a two-hour charge, hits speeds of up to 12 mph, and folds for easy carry and storage with only 20 pounds of weight. There are also built-in lights and two braking systems for optimal safety, but you still need to watch out for potholes. When it’s released at BMW dealers this September, it will cost about $895, but there will be two motorless versions for sale for much less in case you like physical exertion.
