The purity of listening to vinyl is something every music lover should experience, but the commitment can be expensive, especially when it comes to a good turntable and related audio equipment. TONE Factory’s turntable was born out of a love for great design and great vinyl music. The rather affordable and quite beautiful turntable was created to put listening to vinyl within easy financial reach for those wanting to head down the path who are intimidated by equipment and related costs. It has a unique aluminum base that doubles as the foundation and the housing for the belt-drive motor, phono stage, and Bluetooth, making wires obsolete. This streamlined look garnered the recognition prize from the Austrian Design Prize 2019. The TONE Factory can also be connected to traditional audio components if needed, and it comes in three subdued colors. It’s already exceeded its Kickstarter goal, and it should start delivering in June of 2020.
