The BMW Z8 was definitely an exclusive roadster but not a true beauty. Two brothers, Willem and Kaess Smit took on a special project and turned the Z8 roadster into the Oletha hardtop coupe, and it’s simply gorgeous. The body is carbon fiber composite, and underneath you’ll find a 4.4-liter V8 from the powerful BMW E92 M3 GTS (450 horsepower) mated to a six-speed manual to the rear wheels. The Z8’s styling has been tweaked including modified kidney grilles, new turn signals, a hood scoop, and a Jaguar E-Type coupe-like fastback roof and an adjustable decklid spoiler. Oletha is also meant to be driven hard thanks to a KW 2-way adjustable suspension and AP Racing brakes. You can have an Oletha build commissioned for you, and you’ll certainly have one of the best Bimmer restomods in the business.
