After maturing for over three decades in oak barrels, it undergoes a second aging process in a heavily peated cask to reinvigorate its smoky character. The Wall Collection derives its name from the bespoke bottles, each hand-painted by London illustrator Laura Carlin, using the same paint as Laphroaig’s Warehouse No. 1 exterior walls. These limited-edition treasures are presented in elegant boxes, set upon tiered display plinths. With only 200 bottles available through a Friends of Laphroaig club ballot system, The Wall Collection: Peat single malt is a rare and coveted gem priced at £4,500 (~$5,440).
