Legendary Japanese distillery Suntory is celebrating 100 years of crafting excellent whisky by releasing some limited edition beverages. The first we’ve heard of is a sadly Japan-only canned Highball, using the brand’s Hakushu single malt. The Suntory Premium Highball will offer plenty of fruit notes and a touch of smokiness and builds on Suntory’s previous canned highball which featured their Kakubin whisky. With the rise of premium ready-to-drink cocktails and the popularity of highballs in Japan it should come as no surprise that the beloved distillery is celebrating the big 100 with the Suntory Premium Highball. While the release will only be available in Japan this summer, we wouldn’t be shocked to see cans pop up on the secondary market stateside.
