Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series No. 11: Tequila Barrel-Aged Whiskey

Looking to ignite your taste buds with an unprecedented twist on a classic? The latest offering from Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series is about to take your sipping experience to an entirely new dimension. They’ve taken their renowned Tennessee whiskey and pushed the boundaries by aging it in tequila barrels. The result? A flavor fusion that’s as bold as it is unexpected.

The 11th edition of Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series sees the brand age their whiskey in tequila barrels. The Distillery Series gives Jack Daniel’s the opportunity to produce experimental small-batch offerings. And this latest experiment is one that has definitely piqued our interest.

“As one of the most complete distilleries in the world, we’re fortunate to have the ability to experiment with every part of the whiskey making process, and that’s what our Distillery Series is all about,” said Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s master distiller, in a statement. “This añejo tequila barrel-finished whiskey pushes the bounds on what people may expect out of a Tennessee whiskey, yet still has the familiar characteristics that are uniquely Jack Daniel’s.”

Fletcher did not reveal which tequila was aged in the barrels previously but the results are sure to be impressive. The Jack Daniel’s Distillery Series No. 11: Tequila Barrel-Aged Whiskey is only available in Tennessee at the distillery’s White Rabbit Bottle Shop as well as a few other locations in the state for an MSRP of $42
