Handy Gym

Okay, so maybe the name needs work, but the idea is brilliant. Using magnetic isointertial exercise technology developed by NASA for astronauts in zero gravity environments, the Handy Gym requires no weights and very little space. The idea behind Handy Gym is to increase convenience while reducing the chance of injury and providing tremendous versatility in a compact package. The conical pulley system can attach to a door frame, around railing or even a sturdy pole. Swap out discs for weighted pulls that range from 2 pounds all the way up to 220 pounds, and perform exercises for virtually every muscle group. There’s even an accompanying app that pairs with the Handy Gym to track pulls and progress. This might just be the most brilliant portable gym in existence, making weights, bands, and all manner of workout doodads obsolete. It’s up on Kickstarter now, and it’s eclipsed its goal more than ten-fold.
