Just when a Bugatti Veyron or Chiron aren’t special or pricey enough for you, the W16 Mistral comes along. It’s the last car to utilize Bugatti’s side-by-side V8 engines (W16), and what a swan song it is. The W16 Mistral is actually an open-top roadster, and the styling cues are more rakish than the Chiron or the Veyron with fewer curves and copious use of cut lines in the body. The engine, the centerpiece of the car, is an 8.0-liter quad-turbo 16-cylinder engine that delivers 1,578 horsepower and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The W16 Mistral will launch to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and tops out at an astounding 254 mph. Only 99 will be made at $5 mil apiece, and they’ve all been spoken for.
