Count on Buffalo Trace to bring the past and the future together in an NFT you can drink. Confused? Well, the brand is auctioning off five six-liter bottles of its O.F.C. Vintage 1982 Bourbon Whiskey on BlockBar, an NFT platform for wine and spirits. If you’re lucky enough to win, you get an NFT that states you own a bottle that’s certified authentic. At the time of your choosing, you can exchange the NFT for the glorious bottle of goods… or you can keep the NFT as an investment. In case you choose the former, know that the Bourbon Whiskey has “extraordinary richness and butteriness with layers of apple, pecans, ripened pear, dark Belgian chocolate, caramel and a kiss of black cherries.” It also happens to come in a hand-cut crystal bottle and is housed in a wooden display case. Most importantly, the bottle contains over a gallon of the fancy elixir. Bidding sits at about $2,500.
