Last year, BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle arm of BMW, revealed the concept for an electric scooter that looked like it landed straight out of a sci-fi movie. Now, it’s finally come to life. The CE 04 Scooter is long and sleek with an impressive heads-up display and convenient storage compartments. The 42-horsepower comes with an 8.9-kilowatt-hour battery pack which should last about 80 miles and charges to full in under 2 hours. The CE 04 runs at a top speed of 75 mph.
In addition to the basic model, a Premium Package will add “Dynamic Traction Control,” an adaptive LED headlight, a heated seat, and more. The CE 04 reportedly starts at $11,795 and is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2022.
