Ardbeg just happens to be one of our favorite single malt scotches. The latest offering by the Islay distillery is as bold as it gets. Ardcore is imbued with extreme roasted black malt, charcoal, aniseed, and dark chocolate notes, as well as sweet smoke that all amount to what the brand characterizes as ‘biting on spiky ball,” whatever that means. It’s exclusive to what the brand calls “Committee Members” who must register to get their parched lips on a bottle. Only one bottle per member, so you know it’s hard to get. It’s available now in its Limited Committee Edition and June 1st in regular release.
